The new vehicles will likely be
based on the BMW i3 electric city car. BMW 'i4' will be a model that is more
"fashionable and sporty" to supplement electric i3 in increasing the
range BMW. i4 comes from BMW's new naming strategy. there is an odd number for
the base sedan and hatchbacks, and even a model for the coupe, convertible and
sports cars.
2014 BMW i3 uses carbon
reinforced plastic chassis to compensate for the heavy weight of the batteries.
And Ingram wrote that BMW claims it will have a 0-62 mph performance of under 8
seconds of the electric motor 170-horsepower.
BMW i4 will be based on electric
i3 compact. But it will feature two fewer doors and a lower roof to cut
profiles more dynamic in the way.
